Today Apple gave iOS developers access to the second beta of iOS 4.2. iOS 4.2 will be the first version of iOS 4 for the iPad and will bring all the major enhancements such as folders, multitasking and Game Center.

Early in September Apple announced that iOS 4.2 would be available in November and also published a page dedicated to the new features of iOS 4.2. In addition to the 100+ new features of iOS 4.0 the latest update will also bring AirPlay and Printing to the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

iOS 4.2 beta 2 is labelled build 8C5101c and is a 521MB update for iPad and a 623MB update for the iPhone 4 and is only available to registered iOS developers.

Apple also allowed developers access to iTunes 10.1 beta, the update will allow developers to test printing via AirPrint from iOS apps.
