Along with this weeks news that Apple could be planning a music based event during the week of September 7th, some are now speculating that this could mean an announcement that The Beatles will finally feature on the iTunes Store.

The assumptions are based on the date that the band plans to re-release its entire discography, digitally re-mastered as well as release of the Rock Band game all which will happen on September 9th.

Rumours of the arrival of The Beatles on iTunes have been banded about for many years now, no particularly reliable sources have confirmed the September 9th date.
