Apple has made another high profile hire that will significantly benefit its hardware business. Apple who last year hired renowned IBM chip expert Mark Papermaster who coincidentally began official work at Apple last week has hired former AMD chief technology officer Bob Drebin as Senior Director.
Bob Drebin
Drebin who specialises in graphics chips joined AMD after its acquisition of ATI in 2006.

Apple has yet to officially reveal Drebin’s place within the company.
