iPod Nano Nearing End-of-Life?

Reports appear to show that inventory management systems of one unnamed US retailer shows the whole of the iPod nano product line to be reaching the end of its life. The whole lines shows end-of-life notices for September 16th.

This date coincides with the end of the Free iPod nano back-to-school promotion and the final day of the Apple Expo in Paris (12th-16th September).

Merom Coming to MacBook Pro Soon?

Last week it was reported that Apple could possibly quietly refresh the MacBook Pro notebook with Intel’s new Core 2 Duo processors. WWDC has come and gone and Merom has yet to make it to the MacBook Pro product line.

Now reports appear to point to large shipments being moved from the Far East to the US around the 5th of September, as previously stated this date is very close to that of Apple Expo Paris, although no shipments have been seen heading towards Paris.
